User Guide - How to Create Tags
This guide will review the process of creating a new Tag to apply to a unit or homeowner in Smartwebs
NOTE: The association you create the tags under must have the communications module active to be able to access this feature

You can hover over the "?" symbol next to where it says "Icon" and it will give you some popular options to choose from, or you can utilize the Font Awesome site to find a more customized icon.
NOTE: You DO NOT need to sign in or create an account to utilize the icons from Font Awesome
Step 2A - Popular Options
If you wish to utilize the popular options, select the blue copy button next to the icon and it will automatically fill in the
required text into the icon field.

- IsActive: Marks the tag as Active if checked off and can be utilized right away
- Resident Can View: If this is toggled on the resident will be able to see the tag in the resident portal in the dashboard under "Tags" in the top right-hand corner.
- Resident Can Toggle On/Off: Allows the resident the right to turn the tag on or off for their unit/homeowner and is done in the same place they view their resident tags
Step 4 - Preview Tag and Create
The last step is to view the Tag Preview at the bottom of the form, confirm the tag is ready to be made, and click save to complete the form and create the tag.
Confirmation
If the tag is saved and created as intended you will be able to view it right away in the tags management screen, it is now ready for use to be added to a unit or homeowner.
