User Guide - Arc Committee Chair
SmartArchitecturals is a fundamentally faster, better way to process ARC requests. It is an online application that tracks all project requests, documents, member votes, comments, and approval summaries. More importantly, it helps your committee effectively communicate with each other and with your management company. All history is consistently stored and archived for easy retrieval.
Notifications
The site automatically notifies you via email when new project requests are ready for review, when Committee members make comments or updates, and when projects are getting close to expiring. Each email contains a link to quickly access what you need.

Committee Members are notified via email and all comments are recorded in the Project History. Your vote is also reflected in the Approval Summary. User votes act as recommendations for the final decision.
Project Vote
As the Chair, you are the only one on the Committee with authority to decide the final project status. You change the project status using the ‘Status’ dropdown box located in the ‘Project Information’ section.
You may be prompted to enter an explanation to be included in the letter to the homeowner. Click ‘Save’ and an automatic letter, with the decision, will be emailed to the homeowner and the project will be moved to the “Completed Tab”. Make sure you change the Project Status. Your user vote is not considered a final decision.
