User Guide - Resident Portal Sign Up
This tutorial will guide residents through the process of signing up for their resident portal following the receipt of their Smartwebs Resident Portal invitation:
Step 1: Receive the Invitation Via Email
Upon receiving your resident portal invitation, follow these steps to create your account.
Step 2: Verification of Ownership
Click the "Create My Account" button in the invitation email to access the verification of ownership page in Smartwebs.
Step 3: Verify Via Your Email or Phone Number
Choose either email or phone number for verification.
- Verify via email or text and select the corresponding radio box.
- Check the “I’m not a robot”
- Select "Send Code" to receive a verification code. You can also choose to "Resend" the code if necessary.
Step 4: Receive and Apply Verification Code
Wait for the verification code to arrive, then apply it in the "Verification of Ownership" field on the Smartwebs page. This field will populate after you select “Send Code” in step 3
Step 5: Link Unit
Select "Link Unit" after successfully entering the verification code
Step 6: Complete Registration
Complete your registration by following these steps:
- Create a username and a secure password.
- Confirm your password.
- Click "Sign Up."
Step 7: Access Your Resident Portal
Upon registration completion you will be automatically taken to the login screen.
- Enter your username and password.
- Click "Login."
