Accounting

Accounts Payable - Recurring Invoices

 

Users can now create Recurring Invoices in Payables > Invoices by selecting "Scheduled Invoice" and creating the preferred schedule.

Once the schedule is saved, the Schedule Detail will be shown on the Invoice drawer with an option to Edit, before the user clicks Create.

Accounts Payable - Vendor Terms Due Date

 

A consistent due date for Vendor Terms has been implemented to facilitate predictable payment scheduling aligned with vendor agreements.

Vendor Terms are now refactored to use a numeric day value (0–30) representing the number of days added to the invoice date to determine the due date. The calculated due date will auto-populate in the invoice drawer based on the selected vendor’s terms. This rule applies going forward only. Existing historical invoices will not be recalculated.

Note: While the due date will be automatically calculated, users are still able to override the due date for individual invoices when necessary. Overriding the due date will apply only to the specific invoice and will not modify the vendor’s configured payment terms.

Lockbox Payments - Checks

 

Implemented a Zego : CheckAlt Lockbox integration to support paper checks sent to a lockbox (via CheckAlt) which is fully integrated into Smartwebs' accounting and resident experience. This feature will:

  • Post lockbox deposits into Smartwebs using the same internal ledger logic as existing resident payments made via our Zego integration.
  • Display check images alongside transactions for audit and customer support.

Banking - Validation Files

 

Past Owners will no longer be included in exported Validation Files. This will ensure all bank lockbox/positive pay owner data remains aligned with Smartwebs data and prevent downstream bank validation or matching issues.

Banking - Smartstreet Integration

 

Enhanced active banking integrations, adding a daily sync of Balance and Transaction activity for all Smartstreet bank accounts.

Communication

Enhanced the behavior of merge fields in Communications to improve the User Experience. When only "Primary Owner Mailing Address" checkbox is checked and therefore the system will send one (Mail / Email) message, we will now display the actual content which will be sent, instead of the merge field itself.

Resale

Various improvements to the Resale Certificates module, including:

  • Display a confirmation to the user if an email template is not selected
  • Pagination, sorting/filtering, and search added to grids
  • Ability to add multiple buyers
  • Various UX enhancements

Lifestyle

Various enhancements to our new Lifestyle add-on product offering: customizable community websites!

  • Enhancements include:
  • News Feed: Community and Club Posts
  • Design Improvements to Community Pop-Ups
  • Dynamic Update of Titles and Headings in Editor
  • Various improvements to Reservations functionality
  • Integrate Reservations with Smartwebs' Owner Status
