Quick Training - ARC - Copying Letter Templates
This quick guide will go over how to create and link a custom ARC Letter
Step 1:
Navigate through ARC > More > Letters & Emails
Step 2:
Click on the "Letters" tab to view the letter template section
Step 3:
Next, click on "Copy Letter Template"
- You can create a template from scratch, however, we recommend copying and editing from an existing template
Step 4:
Select the letter template you want to copy from, then select "Copy Template"
Step 5
Choose a new "Name" and a new "Display Name", and then edit the contents of the letter.

When you have finished making your changes, select "Save" in the top right of the Create Letter window

Now that the letter template is created, you have to link the letter.
- In the Letter template list, select the Pencil icon button to edit

Choose the blue link icon in the upper right

Next, complete the following steps to link the letter
- Select the Association this letter is assigned to
- Select the Status that will use the letter (either a Project status or Build status)
- Select the "Link" button
Be sure to wait for the green confirmation to popup stating the letter was linked successfully
Step 10
To finalize, click the "Save" button in the top right of the edit letter window to save all of the changes made
To confirm the letter is properly linked, the association and what status that association is using the letter for will show in the letter template list.
