To ensure your new association is correctly configured to meet your requirements, we recommend reviewing and updating the following items as necessary:
General
- Association Logo
Accounting: General Ledger
- Confirm Chart of Accounts (Accounting > GL > Chart of Accounts)
- Enter Budget (Accounting > GL > Budget)
- If fiscal year is incorrect, please email support@smartwebs.com to update immediately. To avoid extra fees, this needs to be updated before any transactions.
- Enter Journal Entries for Beginning GL Balances (Accounting > GL > Journal Entries)
- GL Funds - Make edits if needed (Accounting > Settings > GL Funds & Categories > GL Funds)
- Report Categories - Make edits if needed (Accounting > Settings > GL Funds &
- Cost Centers - Make edits if needed (Accounting > Settings > GL Funds & Categories > Cost Centers)
- Default GL Codes - Make edits if needed (Accounting > Settings > Default GL Codes)
