Arc Additional Settings Overview
To access Architectural Additional Settings, or Arc Management go to ARC Module > More > Additional Settings
Main Controls
Settings that allow other controls to work and enable other ARC Module features.
- Turn Emails on: Allows emails to be sent out to residents, board members, and management regarding ARC projects
- Project Update URL links in homeowner emails: When updates are made to a resident's project, a link will be generated in the email that is sent to them so they can quickly view the project.
- Enable App Fee: Enables the control that sets a fee for ARC Online Submit Form Applications
- Enable Deposit Fee: Enables the control that sets a deposit fee for ARC projects
- Enable Merchant Service: Enables payments in the online submit form. If enabled, the resident will click Next instead of the Submit button when submitting a project form and be directed to a payment screen instead.
ARC Online Submit Form Controls
Settings to change how resident information is displayed when submitting an online project form.
- Obfuscate Owner's Details: will change John Smith to J*** S****.
- Show Owner's Name / Obfuscate Email: will show John Smith, but change johnsmith@gmail.com to jo********.com
- Hide All Owner's Details: will change John Smith to J*** S****, and johnsmith@gmail.com to jo********.com
An example of how the details of an ARC Online Submit Form would look with Obfuscate Owner's Details toggled on:
Build Tab Controls
Allows you to set how many days residents will have to build/complete a project
NOTE: Setting the number of days to 0 will REMOVE the "Build" tab and send all projects there to the print tab
Clicking on Exceptions will reveal a dropdown so you can customize specific projects to have their own build time
- For example: Association wide Build time is 180 days, but "Grill" can be set to 30 days.
- Be sure to press Save after making any changes to deadlines
- Pressing X next to a custom deadline will remove it
Deposit and Application fees
Allows the association to set a fee for Project Applications and ask for a deposit on projects
Clicking on Exceptions will reveal a dropdown so you can customize specific projects to have their own application fee and deposit cost.
- For example: Association wide form submissions cost $25 but an Electric Fence project can be set to $30
- Be sure to press Save after making any changes to deadlines
- Pressing X next to a custom deadline will remove it
Column Info Setup
Allows for extra custom columns to appear in the ARC module tabs (i.e.: Staged, Review, Build, Completed, etc.)
When an arc project is edited, custom detail information can be added, and will be shown in these custom columns
- OptionValue: What the name of the column will show as
- On/Off: Toggles where the information for the custom tab is shown
- Off: The new column info only appears as in the detailed project section when you open a project
- On: The information will also show in the main tabs as well as the detailed view
- Extra Info: The association can choose for the information to be added to a project as either a dropdown selection, or as a text box they can write in
Dropdown Extra Info
A custom column that has the information set to be entered as a Dropdown, will appear in the edit details section as shown below:
- In this scenario the association has added a custom Fee column as a dropdown, with the fee cost being set at the values: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25
