Follow the steps below to add, organize, or remove menu and submenu items.\n\nAdding Menu Items\nTop-Level Items: To create a new primary category in your header, click the plus (+) icon located to the right of the Headers section.\n\n\nSubmenu Items: To add a nested item under an existing category:\nClick the arrow icon next to the parent menu item to expand the list.\nClick the plus (+) icon at the bottom of the submenu list.\n\n\nOrganizing and Editing\nReordering: You can change the sequence of your navigation at any time. # User Guide - Lifestyle - Managing Site Navigation
## Note: The functionality described in this article is part of an optional Smartwebs add-on product: Lifestyle which may not be available in your environment. If you do not see these features and are interested in enabling them, please contact Support to request a product demo!
The Lifestyle Configuration portal allows you to fully customize your site's header navigation. Follow the steps below to add, organize, or remove menu and submenu items.
### **Adding Menu Items**
1. Click the **arrow** icon next to the parent menu item to expand the list.
2. Click the **plus (+)** icon at the bottom of the submenu list.
### **Organizing and Editing**
- **Reordering:** You can change the sequence of your navigation at any time. Simply click and hold an item, then **drag and drop** it to your preferred position.
- **Deleting Items:** To remove an entry, click the name of the menu or submenu item to select it, then click the **Remove** button.
> **Pro Tip: Always click the Save button at the bottom of the page before navigating away.**
