Make sure the vendor's payment information and preferred payment method are configured correctly before processing payments.\n\n\nSelect 3rd Party Payment When Creating the Invoice\n\nWhen creating an invoice in Smartwebs, the user will determine whether the payment should be processed through Payabli.\n\nIn the invoice, select 3rd Party Payment when the payment should be sent to Payabli for processing.\n\nWhen 3rd Party Payment is selected:\n\nThe invoice is eligible to be processed through Payabli.\nPayabli will handle the payment according to the vendor's configured payment method.\nThe payment can be processed according to the association's configured Payment Timing.\nLocal Payment Processing\n\nIf 3rd Party Payment is not selected, the payment remains available for local processing through Smartwebs.\n\nFor example, the user may choose to process the payment locally by printing a check in-house rather than sending the payment to Payabli.\n\nTip: Use 3rd Party Payment when you want Payabli to handle the vendor payment. In Smartwebs: 1. Open the vendor's **Vendor Drawer**. 3. The association should be listed untder Payabli Associations on the right side. In the invoice, select **3rd Party Payment** when the payment should be sent to Payabli for processing. When **3rd Party Payment** is selected: - The invoice is eligible to be processed through Payabli. - Payabli will handle the payment according to the vendor's configured payment method. - The payment can be processed according to the association's configured **Payment Timing**. ### Local Payment Processing If **3rd Party Payment** is **not selected**, the payment remains available for local processing through Smartwebs.
