User Guide - Template Fonts
This guide explains how to manage typography within the Smartwebs configuration site to ensure consistent formatting across all pages.
Setting Template Fonts
To establish a uniform look, you can define specific fonts for your Headings, Body Text, and Menus.
Accessing Font Settings
- Log in to the Configuration Site.
- Navigate to Template > Fonts.
- Choose a font and size from the provided list of available options.

Using Google Fonts
If you prefer a custom look, you can integrate any font from the Google Fonts library using the following steps:
- Browse: Go to fonts.google.com.
- Select: Find your desired font and click on it to open the specimen page.
- Copy the URL: Copy the full web address from your browser’s address bar.
- Example:
https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Roboto
- Import: In the Smartwebs Font menu, click the "Paste from Google Fonts" button.
- Paste & Save: Paste your copied URL into the input field and click Save.


Quick Tips for Typography
- Hierarchy: Use bold or larger fonts for Headings to help users scan the page quickly.
- Readability: For the Body text, choose clean, simple fonts (like Sans Serif styles) to make long articles easier to read.
