This guide explains how to manage typography within the Smartwebs configuration site to ensure consistent formatting across all pages.

Setting Template Fonts

To establish a uniform look, you can define specific fonts for your Headings, Body Text, and Menus.

Accessing Font Settings

  1. Log in to the Configuration Site.
  2. Navigate to Template > Fonts.
  3. Choose a font and size from the provided list of available options.

Using Google Fonts

If you prefer a custom look, you can integrate any font from the Google Fonts library using the following steps:

    1. Browse: Go to fonts.google.com.
    2. Select: Find your desired font and click on it to open the specimen page.
    3. Copy the URL: Copy the full web address from your browser’s address bar.
  • Example: https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Roboto
  1. Import: In the Smartwebs Font menu, click the "Paste from Google Fonts" button.
  2. Paste & Save: Paste your copied URL into the input field and click Save.

Quick Tips for Typography

  • Hierarchy: Use bold or larger fonts for Headings to help users scan the page quickly.
  • Readability: For the Body text, choose clean, simple fonts (like Sans Serif styles) to make long articles easier to read.
