Arc Board/Committee Vote
This quick training will show the basic steps of how a committee member would vote on an ARC Project that is waiting on approval.
Step 1:
Select the Association from the dropdown menu at the top of your screen
- If the user does not have more than one association assigned to them, then they will be automatically taken to their assigned association upon login
Step 2:
Select the ARC module hammer icon on the left side of the screen, and that will bring you right to the "Review" tab
- You may also hover the hammer icon and click on "Review" from the list that pops up
Step 3:
From the Review Tab, select the project that the user needs to vote on
- This will open the project details section, where you can see all of the project information and also is how you get to the forum to vote
Step 4:
In this popup, select the "Forum" button in the top right.
- This will take you to the forum where you can view when and what documents have been uploaded, who has made comments on the project, and most importantly where the committee makes their votes.
Step 5:
To vote on the project, you will start at the top in the approval update section and complete the following:
- User comments: Allows you to make comments and send them to the other approvers, homeowners (if homeowner emails are on, and management)
- To make a comment without voting, keep User vote on "Not Voted" and it will only make a comment
- NOTE: *Comments are PERMENANT and cannot be deleted by anyone
- User Vote:Change this dropdown to how you wish to vote, and then select send
- NOTE: Some types of votes need to have comments attached to allow you to send them
Completed:
Once you have submitted your vote the Approvers section will change your voting status, and any comments made will appear in the Forum History section below
- Please note that in the forum history, a second automatic message will show that approver emails were sent out if that option was selected. This message will not reflect the users actual vote, it is there purely to remind other members to vote if they have not already.
Back in the Review Tab of the module, the vote column will show a brief preview of how many members have voted on that project.
