4. A window will appear to allow you to add building information. Only 'Building Name' and the number of floors are required. All other fields are optional.

Note that it is not possible to edit the number of floors after this screen, so make your selection carefully.

5. After you have finished adding building information, click on the arrow to proceed.

 6. Now that you are ready to assign units to specific floors inside the building:

  • Select the floor you want to add units to.
  • Select the street that the unit you want to assign is located in.
  • Select the units you want to assign to this floor using the checkboxes to the left of each unit.

Make sure to tap Save each time you change floors or streets to keep your changes.

If you make mistakes or forget to assign units to a floor, don't worry- you can always edit the unit assignments after the building is created and saved.

7. After you are finished making your assignments, a black building icon will appear on the Map View. You may need to collapse the Edit Building window using the blue X icon to see it (you can close this window safely without losing any data).

Click and drag the black building icon to the desired position on the map and tap Save.

Your building and its assignments will NOT be saved until you tap this specific Save button.

If you select Remove, or delete a building, the units inside it will reappear in the same place they were located before they were assigned to the building.

Editing floor assignments

1. Select the building from the Map View to open the Building Summary View.

2. Select the Edit icon to the right of the floor you wish to edit.

3. Make your changes, just like when you first created the building. Tap Save before you switch to a different floor or street.

4. If the unit you want to assign isn't appearing when you select its street, that means it has already been assigned to a different floor and/or building.

To reassign the unit, you must first go to the building or floor where it is located, remove it (by unchecking and tapping Save). It will now be "freed up" to be assigned elsewhere.
