FAQ: Why am I getting error message: "Icomparable", when updating a Vendor for a Work Order?

How to resolve the “Icomparable” error when updating a vendor in the Work Order module, by disabling an expired insurance entry that is still marked as active on the vendor profile.

This error occurs when the vendor profile contains two active insurance entries.

To resolve the issue, disable the expired insurance entry, save your changes, and then proceed with any additional vendor updates.

Step 1

In the Work Order (WO) module, use the search bar to locate the vendor. Click the vendor name to open the profile, then select the pencil icon to edit the vendor record. Scroll to the Insurance section and click Show Older Insurances.

Step 2

Locate the expired insurance entry that is still marked as active. Disable the expired insurance, then save your changes.

Step 3

Return to the vendor profile and complete the necessary updates. You should now be able to save your changes successfully.
